The third of the insect tombs holds a bumblebee and she needed a larger container. This hexagonal mount with its vestigial gilding probably dates from the mediaeval/Tudor period and we made a box to fit it. The next problem was the length of the word BUMBLEBEE, 9 letters, six sides. The wonderful engraver, Sam James, sorted it out with her solution of placing BEE inside U.
