The Persian arrowhead has been through a number of iterations – first, 2014 in the Newfoundland exhibition with Edmund de Waal. The original was cast and made in solid 18 carat gold and it was then joined to the original arrow and made into a brooch with the pin at the back. Its second appearance was in the Tiepolo collection that we made for Savage & Chong. Then the casts were made from silver and became both earrings and a pendant. I came across a bag of these casts and thought that I would use them again to make new brooches and these earrings.

The 24 carat gold is a thick gold foil applied with the Korean technique of Keum Boo.

Each earring is 35 × 11 mm
