In Singapore, this wonderful flower, Keng Hua or Queen of the Night (see last image), flowers only at night, reaching full bloom around midnight, and wilting before dawn. It has a heavy, sweet perfume to attract nocturnal pollinators like moths and bats.

There are gold leaves half hidden amongst the silver petals.
