I have grown to like 9ct red gold very much, not as harsh as 9ct yellow, it has a warm glow to it. Here I have used it as shingle interspersed with small pearls, each one fixed with 9ct red laser wire. Shingle is one of the terms I use with my ‘translators’ to describe shingle on the beach.
