I find sea urchin spines astonishing - each one unique, as if painted by hand. They look like ceramic. They are attached with either diamond beads or tiny seed pearls. Surrounding them is gold shingle, golden curls of seaweed, beautiful antique pearls and ruby beads representing sea anemones.
