Seaweed and Garnet Pendant

£1,210.00

Imagine a piece of seaweed, or the like, eaten away after years under the sea. Each organic shaped cut has been made individually using a burr at the end of a pendant drill. The garnet came from a cloth bag with about 20 garnets found in a cupboard in an old farm in Nottinghamshire.

Pendant length: 5cm

Chain length: 68cm

18th century garnet; 18ct gold; oxidised silver; oxidised silver snake chain
