The silver torpedo shapes are gilded with thick 24 carat gold foil using the Korean technique of keum boo, which results in a richer and heavier gilding than gold plating. The ear wires are 9 carat gold which I thought worked well, colour wise. At the bottom hang three diamond beads which catch the light as they move.
