This Roman brooch would have had a stone, possibly garnet, in the centre; it is no longer there but what is left is the most beautiful colour of green. We added some golden ‘grapes’ to echo the vestigial gilding and a heavy 18 carat gold ring shank (this can be resized if necessary).
